Natural and alternative deodorants have been around for years, but it seems newer alternative brands are making waves these days, evidenced by Procter & Gamble’s acquisition of Native last week. Based in San Francisco, this deodorant maker sells men’s and women’s variants at a higher price tag than typical mass market counterparts.
 
Here’s a look at a handlful of independent deodorant brands answering consumers’ calls for products made with natural/organic or so-called “less concerning” ingredients.
